Cupcakes Spring Egg Hunt

You must hop over to the Cupcakes sim by Monday for the Spring Hunt.  Cupcakes has an all new look that is cute heaven.  Cupcakes has 18 eggs for you to find and several of the anchor stores have either eggs or opening gifts to celebrate!  A.D.D. Andel and Sanu have moved their mainstores to Cupcakes, which totally ups the cute factor (make sure you check out the yards in the back of the store while you hunt).  The eggs are scattered all over the sim and the ever generous Mimi Coral and Rosemary Galbraith of Cupcakes have included skins, dresses, lingeries and tanks in their eggs.  Eight of the cupcake eggs contain skins in different tones.  A quick note about the skins:  The skins do not have the old style brows but utilize tattoo layers. Those are not in the eggs but you can get free ones by the Enigma skins (get them from all three venders so you have the correct tones).

420: Everybody Must Get Stoned

Waldos from all points of the globe are gathering today to consume the celebrated herb. For the unenlightened, 420 is a term that harkens way back to the 1971 (google it) by some people that are old now.  SL, being in all points of the globe at once.. is it?...yeah... I think...is celebrating today with start of The Stash Bash.  How do we celebrate in SL? Well, you know...with a party and a hunt (bonus).  Read on, good reader, for pretty pictures and details.  The hunt DOES NOT start until after 4:20 PM so if you go early some things may not be ready! Wipe those tears from your eyes.

The hunt kicks off with a party at Mudhoney at 4:00 pm (though you know half of them will be late, cuz, you know) with dancing and much happiness and good energy (munchies?).  Mudhoney is also the starting point for the hunt where you will be searching for bags of weed hidden in participating stores.  The hunt is a small one but those participating are prime and the goods can't be missed.  Neither the cops nor your mom will bust you for this one. 

Much coveted will be the Hookah Hangout Skybox from The Sea Hole.  Do yourself a favor and pick up two because 1) it's fantastic and 2) its no copy and should be rezzed in build mode, so if you are high and mess it up you won't be bummed when you don't have another copy.  While you are there, don't forget there are 2 prizes.  Oh man, I forgot to take a photo of the outfit. 

Sn@tch has a flipping fantastic Hippie Chick outfit in the hunt that comes with 2 different tank tops, a belly ringy and fab backpack.  I paired it with Ripe's Ganja Luv'in jewelry that includes a set for the guys, too.  Hempy Weezles of Ripe played a major role in organizing this hunt so give her the peace sign when you see her about. 

So Many Styles is offering a lacy blouse in green (duh). Look closely at the lace on top for the subliminal message.  

Blue Blood is offering the sexeh Adele lingerie in green. What was I looking for? 

No amount of Visine (or better yet, Opcon) is going to clear these eyes from doremi.  The lovely eyeshadow is also a prize from doremi. I love the horn earrings from Adore & Abhor.  Luckily for me Ducknipple's rocking necklace with handy pipe can also be copped and good to have if you left your steamroller under the driver's seat of your car. 

There are a ton more prizes. My pal, Jacqui Pobieski, blogged some other things on our blog, Crybaby, if you want more peaks.  There is a house from MiaSnow, poses from City of Dis, an awesome balloon from Tehro, more great clothes, etc.  Don't forget about this!

R.icielli Deluxe Hunt

First off, I just want to welcome Ashe Anthony to Free*Style. I would be squeeing in the comment box but since we don't have them I will squee here: SQUEE!  The purpose of this post is to show some of the items I love from the R.icielli 2nd Deluxe Hunt. If you have a few lindens to spare you can score some awesome items.  You are looking for gold keys which are right out there.  Each key costs 10 L each and many items have full-prize versions in the store.  If you look at the store blog or even the big poster in the store you will see that item clearly marked so you know what you are buying before you pay.  I will shut up now and show some of my favorite finds.

Finally! Pididdle!

The adorable Brutus Martinek from Pididdle has been planning on opening a new main store on the Existence sim and it opened today!  To celebrate she has made some season themed versions of some of her new releases.  They are hidden in 5 easy to find pumpkins and will cost you nada.

The Beirut Jeans in "That Creepy Feeling" version as well as the Obsessions Top in "Pumpkin Patch Party" as well as the Boo necklace are 3 of the items you can find in the little hunt.  I added the non-free Beirut Vest in black because it's such a madly versatile piece, plus I think its really sexy.

Check out the amazing texturing on the Obsessions Top.  I love Brutus's attention to detail.  All her new releases come in about a billion colors, which makes it about impossible for me to buy only one.  Thanks, Brutus, for all the fantastic gifts!

Frick hunt, Honey Kitty lucky boards, iTuTu

Yes, it's Achariya again, surfacing for Halloween! So many awesome things abound this month that I have to share them! My outfit is entirely made up of free items and group gifts and hunt items.

(1) That awesome dress is a group lucky board item from Honey Kitty, the Halloween Sailor outfit. It has so many options for sleeve, sweater, cardigan, and collar that it'll last me a long time for playing! (SLURL to Honey Kitty -- Halloween stuff is upstairs)

Wear Gray!

The Wear Gray for a Day event began this past weekend and runs until September 5.  At the Wear Grey Market Faire is a plethora of goodies available from many SL designers, with at least a portion benefitting the American Brain Tumor Association.  There are also daily auctions and you can see what is available daily at the official Wear Grey blog.  For us frugalistas there is also a hunt.  Each item is only 20L and all proceeds benefit ABTA.  I heard a rumor that some people were complaining about the cost of the hunt items but seriously, guys, we are talking brain cancer here!

I also wanted to mention a great freebie at Adam n Eve.  There are free painted lashes!  These are a tattoo layer that you can use with the SL 2. or many alternative viewers.  If adjusting prim lashes is irritating, this is a fantastic solution...and they don't look like blobs in high lag locations.  There are other amazing makeups.  My favorite it one that turns your skin tone green, perfect for Halloween parties!

Got Panties?

The 3rd Annual Starlust Panty Raid began today at all 10 billion Starlust locations.  Unlike other Panty Raids where most of the hunt items were panties (thus the name Panty Raid) a whole bunch of other lovely, silly, stupid and inspirational items to improve your SL and make you highly intelligent can be found for 0 or 1 L.  You can start the hunt anywhere and roam where your heart fancies...this hunt isn't numbered and the clams (as seen in the picture) are scattered all over.  They may or may not be near the store that they are representing.  So plan on fun and mystery.  

I have no intention of showing a million hunt items as I've just started to explore the sims and I know that  more clams may be scattered about as time goes on.  The following are the sims where gold clams will be hidden:  Herman Melville, Harold - Anchor City/Area 408, Harold - Catty Campground, Floyd, Lloyd, Horst, Bill, Eugene, Gaylord and Elliot.
