Modavia & The Secret Store

I am loving Cupcake's Cecile skin which is still out in the Copper tone for 50 L in their Sunday Bake Sale area.  I paired it with the Lovely makeup set which is also only 50 L.  The darling hair is free at Rush, a cute blond bob.  I met the designer, Destiny Leimes, while I was there and she is a darling! It's a cute store and this is like the second freebie I've picked up from there recently, so she is generous, too! Thanks again!

Cupcakes Spring Egg Hunt

You must hop over to the Cupcakes sim by Monday for the Spring Hunt.  Cupcakes has an all new look that is cute heaven.  Cupcakes has 18 eggs for you to find and several of the anchor stores have either eggs or opening gifts to celebrate!  A.D.D. Andel and Sanu have moved their mainstores to Cupcakes, which totally ups the cute factor (make sure you check out the yards in the back of the store while you hunt).  The eggs are scattered all over the sim and the ever generous Mimi Coral and Rosemary Galbraith of Cupcakes have included skins, dresses, lingeries and tanks in their eggs.  Eight of the cupcake eggs contain skins in different tones.  A quick note about the skins:  The skins do not have the old style brows but utilize tattoo layers. Those are not in the eggs but you can get free ones by the Enigma skins (get them from all three venders so you have the correct tones).

Nein!

The very lovely Bluelili Gothly TP'd me to the lucky board at Nein and I realized we have never featured this store on F*S.  Nein carries casual, sexy-urban clothes for both men and women as well as has a Midnight Mania and Lucky Board for both genders, which gets big kudos from me for both generosity and equal billing.  I know there are 4 outfits on the women's lucky board and when I went back for a second look there were several people there, as there was the first time I visited, it gets it's fair share of action.  This is just one example of the outfits in the LB and it includes the jewelry shown, too!

Sin & Secrets Opening Dollarbie

Those of you that have been around SL for awhile are likely to recall Sin & Secrets.  I used to shop there a lot and I was tickled when designer, Leila Dix, sent me her the dollarbie dress for their new store opening.  I particularly like the textural details at the waistline and the fluttery effects of the skirt.  The color changing hairband on the hair which is D!va's 10 K member gift worked so well with it as did Nushru's little black garter.  The blue rose gave it the color accent I was looking for.  You can pick it up for only 1 L for a few more days at Snow Bunny.

Snow Bunny

The Lucid sim is having a Snow Bunny event until Friday, February 11.  Five of the sim's stores are participating and it gives you an opportunity to pick up some cute items for few Lindens.

My shop, (census), is offering an adorable new shape, January, that will be available for only 50 L during the event.  After that it will be available at it's normal price.  I'm showing the shape below with (nushru's) Puff Snow Bunny dress.  It comes in 7 yummy colors for only 40 L each or as a fatpack.  I love the asian texture used in the dress.

*RezIpsa Loc* has darling Snow Bunny T-shirts.  They come in a pack with both a pink and blue version and have all the layers you need to wear them either tucked or untucked.  I paired them with the latest freebie from Hoorenbeek.  The lilac snowboots are available as a subscriber gift.  Generally, his gifts require you to be a subscriber for at least 2 weeks, so go slap it and return and touch the vender for these cute boots.  They come in several different version for lots of versatility

Two designers are offering adorable homes for cheap at the event!  buttons. has a charming lil' cottage for only 50 Ls.  It is only 51 prims and modifiable and copiable.  It has 2 floors.

A.D.D. Andel! has offered the first in her series of Seasons Skyboxes.  The winter one comes with tons of options.  It totals 84 completely rezzed and includes a full-moon sphere to provide winder effects. There are options to not rez the tree, planter, snowdrifts and snow particles to keep it very low prim. \ My photos could not do it justice so I taking the liberty of showing her ad.  You can pick it up at the bargain price of 75 L during the event.

While at Lucid you might want to poke around some of the stores for some cute freebies and cheapies from independent designers!  And! Before I forget, the poses I'm using are from Exposeur and are at a very special price of only 50 L over the weekend.  They are called Top Model - Spring 2011 and includes 14 poses!  It's a complete steal so go get them!

Happy Kyoot Year!

Kyoot has recolored one of my favorite dresses and is offering it at a New Years gift.  The gift also includes a nice black sequined vest.  My skin is the lovely Precious skin in Christmas Yule makeup, which is a group gift.  Now nothing about this skin made me want to start saying "Ho Ho Ho" (though other things do).  Its a great year-round skin and I do like the base shades.  Also, before it ends RezIpsa has an amazing clearance sale on a lot of hair and clothing.  My favorite style of Rezzie's work is Eliza and I was able to pick up a version with snowflakes for cheap!

I've picked up so many freebies lately that I don't even know where to start.  So instead of showing you things that have probably already been blogged by many other "freebie" blogs, I want to show you a fantastic cheapie.  RibboN has been knocking out the most fantastic inexpensive items lately and this dress was released today.  The ReToRo Blouse comes in 3 different textures.  The others are pretty florals but I was all over the newsprint version.  Best of all it is only 35 L.  Bang up bargain for something this cute and funky.

Probably not, but lately I am having a horrible time thinking up names for my posts.  Recently I had the great pleasure of meeting Nava Valois, designer and owner of Envied.  This sweet dress with a darling drop skirt is available as a subscriber gift at the store.  It should deliver to you as soon as you subscribe, but if not, it is item 5 on the history list.  The crimson version is exclusively available to subscribers and other colors are available for 150 L.  Also available for us frugalistas are dresses in both the lucky chair and midnight mania.  This weekend there are some darling dresses available for 60 L Sunday.

While I have your attention I want to show you a few other steals I found this weekend.  Ploom has out the finest, hottest, sexiest Beehive available this weekend only for Project Themeory.  I bought several color packs because I am unsure if it will ever be available after this weekend.  Also, LouLou&Co. has a sale on Amore Mia collection is on sale for the weekend.  It is available is several color options and you can purchase either the bracelets or the headband...or you can buy them but, cuz I'm you are an adult and can do what you want <3 (I think).

Wear Gray!

The Wear Gray for a Day event began this past weekend and runs until September 5.  At the Wear Grey Market Faire is a plethora of goodies available from many SL designers, with at least a portion benefitting the American Brain Tumor Association.  There are also daily auctions and you can see what is available daily at the official Wear Grey blog.  For us frugalistas there is also a hunt.  Each item is only 20L and all proceeds benefit ABTA.  I heard a rumor that some people were complaining about the cost of the hunt items but seriously, guys, we are talking brain cancer here!

I also wanted to mention a great freebie at Adam n Eve.  There are free painted lashes!  These are a tattoo layer that you can use with the SL 2. or many alternative viewers.  If adjusting prim lashes is irritating, this is a fantastic solution...and they don't look like blobs in high lag locations.  There are other amazing makeups.  My favorite it one that turns your skin tone green, perfect for Halloween parties!

Sassy Galore!

All I can say is WOW!  Sassy is currently participating in 5 hunts.  I love Sassy when I'm looking for good ole sexiness.  Often the hunt prizes are exclusive versions of outfits for sale and they are first quality.   I'm not even showing the great stuff in the Midnight Mania and Lucky Chair or I would be hogging the whole page.
